Origin: ImportedLove the skirt. The matching jacket was perfect. I have a pear shaped figure so skirts are always difficult as the waist is often too big and then the stretch at my thigh area is too small. What is great about this skirt is the ability to compensate with adjustable buttons to make waist smaller as needed. Not much to do about thigh area except lose the winter 5 pounds I gained and tone a little. I bought a 2 and if I went up a size for the thigh area the waist would be way too big. This skirt will be perfect in a few weeks. I went one star down than the jacket for lack of a lining but the price was worth the sacrifice of a lining. The material appears and feels to be of good quality.

this skirt is killer, killer, sexy, gorgeous! I reviewed the KamaliKuture Women's Single Breasted Blazer and mentioned the skirt in the following review, which I will repeat in this category. I have been wearing Norma Kamali for years and both the KamaliKulture Single Breasted Blazer, and this KamaliKulture Women's Pencil Skirt are every bit as great as some of her higher line blazers, and skirts, sold only in her Manhattan store for hundreds more. It's the Norma Kamali cut. No designer on the planet cuts like she does. It's her magic. Because of her cut, her clothes look good on many different body types. From the curvy, shorter, Marilyn Monroe type body that I have to the taller model type bodies. Nothing flatters like her clothes. The blazer is killer gorgeous with the matching pencil skirt. The fabric and workmanship are superb for this price. You have to work on getting the size right though. You MUST pay careful attention to the measurements in the size charts. Because I am busty I took a 12 in the blazer. I wear a 10 in other brands, mostly. I took the skirt in a 10 and can fit in an 8 as well. You have to measure yourself carefully and might need to try two sizes to get it right. Well worth the time and trouble to get the size right. You will look like a million bucks.
I bought this together with the matching suit jacket. I am absolutely delighted with both. The fabric isn't luxurious but the cut is perfect. And for the price, the whole deal was an absolute bargain. It fits me perfectly. I am usually a size 2-4 (and I'm 5'2") -- I bought size 4, and it was exactly right. I have already had many compliments about the suit. I can throw it on, and wear it to work, and it's effortless. I always feel dressed up and chic.

It has side tab buckles, but this makes the skirt bunch if you try to use them to tighten the waist. A smaller size is not the correction, as I think it would still have a somewhat bunch look to it. Still, for the amazing price I bought it for ($16.00 or so on sale), and it being Norma Kamali, a brand and designer of simple pieces that I really am an overall huge fan, I cannot complain too much. I also bought the matching jacket, and that is the usual great buy that I get from Kamali pieces.
