The UK pencil skirt is usually worn either as a separate piece of clothing or as part of a suit. The slim, narrow shape of a pencil skirt can restrict the movement of the wearer so pencil skirts often have a slit at the back, or less commonly at the sides. Sometimes a pleat, which exposes less skin, is used instead of a slit. The classic shoes for wearing with a pencil skirt are high heels,[3] with sheer stockings or tights. Back-seamed hosiery matches well, recalling the classic pencil-skirt era of the 1950s.[4]

If you should get caught in the rain or snow, put your leather jacket or coat on a well-shaped hanger and let it dry at normal room temperature, NEVER near a fire or direct source off heat.
Light surface marks can usually be removed from your leather jacket with a slightly damp cloth or use of a proprietary cleaner such as Leather Groom.
However, in every case please test the inside facing of your leather jacket first.
